Can My Wife Have An Account At Party Poker Also?
My wife wants to open an account at Empire. I have an account at Empire. She already has one at PokerNow, but I didn't open one because of my concern that it might set off an alarm of some sort with PP. Since we are on a peer to peer network that goes through a router and firewall all my computers look like they have the same IP address. I'm afraid this will cause trouble with PP. Anybody have any insight into this?

Re: Can My Wife Have An Account At Party Poker Also?
Me and my wife both have accounts at Party, PN, Intertops, and soon Empire (and Paradise too, not a skin). No trouble yet. Having different Neteller accounts is probably a good idea, and of course differnt emails.

Re: Can My Wife Have An Account At Party Poker Also?
My wife and I have accounts ar Party. No problems. Different e-mail accounts. We play at different tables at the same time. Their software will not let 2 players at the same table from the same ISP address. I have even transferred money to her periodically, althought the separate NeTeller idea is probably better.

The only downside to opening a second Netteller account is that it has to be funded from a different checking account.

Set up the second neteller with your savings account. Worked for us.

Is it OK that the second neteller account has the same address and phone number as the first?

Re: Can My Wife Have An Account At Party Poker Also?
Ya that works but when we did it Netteller flagged our account all the time
So best to have 1 net, 1 firepay IMO |

Poker sites can distinguish computers behind a router/firewall
[ QUOTE ]
Since we are on a peer to peer network that goes through a router and firewall all my computers look like they have the same IP address. [/ QUOTE ] Paradise can see my private IP address through my home router and firewall. The window title is "Paradise Poker.com Lobby (Connected from a.b.c.d/e.f.g.h)" where e.f.g.h is my IP address on my home network. I assume the Paradise client got this information from my PC and sent it to the server. Probably they display it to deter hanky-panky. Of course Paradise is not Party but they probably collect the address too. |

Netteller Made My Blood Run Cold
So I took the advice I was given and set up a 2nd. netteller account for my wife. This morning I find my account has been closed and that I have to call security. It seems that because the account is at the same IP address, home address, and phone # netteller freaked out. To their credit the person on the phone was very helpful in having our fix the problem, but it was a nice jolt to the system first think in the morning.
