Default Do you fear quads in this situation?

Should my fear of quad Q's prevent me from capping every round here? Normally I wouldn't have considered it, but I lost a boat to quads the other day.. man that pissed me off.. what do you think? With that preflop raise and cap, in retrospect I wonder if I should've kept capping. If capping was correct, though, should I have been check-raising on the flop and the turn to encourage callers? Fortunately, the callers kept calling two cold, but I think I pretty much just got lucky and most people wouldn't cold-call two on the flop OR the turn. On the other hand, the pot was already huge at that point, so who knows? Maybe I played this correctly. Thanks in advance for your comments.

I say ram and jam, baybeee! I guess you were a little fearful but it got capped anyway so you backed into optimal play. You're getting 3:1 on your money the WHOLE way and you're definitely winning this more than 25% of the time.

edit: I don't threebet preflop here though.

if i were you, i would never worry about quads. i probably check/raise the flop for maximum value here unless MP1 is a known LAG and nobody respects his raises anyway.

cheers!

Yeah, that was a pretty close call... the raiser had a PFR of almost 20 though, which tipped the scales for me.

I check call the river. I don't worry about quads. I worry about QT.

QT was the other hand that beat me, but I didn't see QT capping preflop... although with a PFR of 20, I suppose that is possible.

Yeah, see, I'm not sure. For value? I'm really not sure what the proper play here is.. check-raise?
