take Golden Earring off that list and listen to "When the bullet hits the bone" (that's the chorus anyway, don't know what the actual title is)

Just because that song has been played a lot over the years doesn't change the fact that they have numerous hits. If that's the case a lot of bands should be on the list. Name one popular band that hasn't had an overplayed song over the years? That belongs in a whole other thread for played out songs.
