Entires open for Open Challenge: January and a warning

First. I enjoy doing this, and i hope everyone else does also. I know that the specter of some horrible avatar has kept me chugging many a night. So, if you want to continue in the fun, just pm me or respond in thread, and make sure and include the number of hands you play on average each month. Pairings will go up on the first, probably later in the day, since i will be hungover. Really hungover.

Some issues.

Reporting. I am tired of continually having people not report. Its not difficult, and i know you all spend time in this forum. Lets work on quicker reporting, so that standings can go up. It will help foster the competitive spirit, and hopefully make us all more money.

Accuracy. "around 9000 hands' is NOT an acceptable report. We have set standards for hands dealt per hour in casinos (35), and, if needed, i will set a hands dealt per hour standard for sites like pacific that dont track your stats per session. I know with sites that arent pokertracker compatible its difficult to come up with an exact number, but any poker player with his or her salt should be keeping decent records somehow. If you arent, START NOW, and not because of this challenge. You need to know how you are doing, and have the ability to track your progress.

Tourneys. Tournament hands DO count. Why not?

A couple of other rules additions. Failure to report in a timely fashion will raise my ire. This may or may not mean that you dont get to play the next month. I feel rediculous saying this, but c'mon, its not difficult to report, or at least send me a pm that you will report at X time. Excuses are acceptable, if they are reasonable. Pfkaok's computer crashing is ok. Indiematty telling me in the sup bro thread in OOT that he was too busy to report is somewhat slack.

Losers MUST post in the "Official Open Challenge Second Place" thread. We want to see those avatars. You must keep the avatar for the entire month. Be ashamed.
