Default Thanks for your support

To the many of you who posted here, sent me PMs, or emailed me with your support and your kind wishes for my health and safety, thank you very much. I appreciate it a lot, and it's nice to know I have so many good friends and supporters. Happy Holidays to you and your families, and best wishes for 2005.

To those who chose this recent incident to insult me, please hide in the mud where worms belong.

Later, Greg Raymer (FossilMan)

Not a problem, Greg. I remember when you promptly responded to an email from me with advice on my endgame shortly after your World Series victory. That was greatly appreciated yet somewhat surprising considering your newfound fame. Cheers to you, a class act, and make sure you walk around with an entourage in Bellagio from now on...

I once posted I'd rather be the world heavyweight champion of boxing then the World Series of Poker Champion.

When you're heavyweight champion of the world, you don't have thousands of young kids with barely enough pubes to jerk off talking trash behind you on newsgroups - to them, you're just the champ...none of that "he got lucky and he's a hack" [censored].

- and they don't meet up with you to "take their shot" at you, cause that would be so [censored] stupid - at least that's what I think their last thought would be as fragments of nose and teeth imbed themselves into their brain. When you're a WSOP champ, everyone wants to make a move and sound critical, cause then that would imply they're smarter then you. - cause if they dragged a $500 pot off you, that somehow implies they're better.

but in boxing, it's just one jab - one that you return tenfold.

But as you have proven so well, you're on your way to becoming the boxing champion as well

Merry christmas, bro - and congrats...

Maybe you can turn this incident to advantage by adding a chapter to your book. Possible titles:

"Zen and the Art of Kicking Ass"
"Getting the Best of Kidnappers, Thieves, and Dirtbags"
"Gambling Theory: Other Other Topics"
"Gambling at Bellagio: Lawyers, Guns, and Money"

Happy Holidays!

Greg, you've already shown that you're a much bigger man than the worms by putting up with their crap.

I'm glad you're safe, and hope you have a great Christmas.

Default What happened?

What happened Greg?

I guess I don't visit this forum often enough but I'm unaware of the circumstances surrounding this post.

If someone could send me a PM or something and clue me in I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,
hack

On edit:

Never mind. I ran a search.

Hope you're okie-dokie Greg.

Peace out
