I've been trying to get out of hands sooner when I think I'm beat. Here's an example of the kind of hand I'm talking about. Did I play this correctly?

Without a read, fold the turn.

You closed the raising action preflop and lead out on the flop and got raised. I can't see MP1 raising any hands worse than A and face card. I believe I would be beat here most of the time (unless I'm against lags or semi-maniacs), but I would just call the flop still and check-fold the turn. I don't want to look like a wimp to raises... thx for the feedback. MP1 had AJo. I figured I was beat after the flop, and I should have folded the turn. I don't know what compelled me to see 1 more card... [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]
