Default Playing with more inexperienced players. How to dominate them.

While I'm not a seasoned veteran in the least, I've played a lot more than the guys I get together with. They bet on crap half the time and don't have a clue what there doing for the most part. The problem is they chase so much that that get me sometimes. I'd like some advice on how to dominate these unpredictable very novice players. They know which hands beat which but that's about it. Anybody have any tips on how to run these guys over? I've decided to buy a couple of books but I don't think they necessarily apply to people like this.

Are you playing limit or NL?

Put it simply, you have to learn to play against LAGs. You need to isolate if possible pre-flop, and get as many chips in the middle when you believe you're ahead. But if they do play any two cards the swings will be big for you as they have a lot of masked hands.

Ed Miller posted some great advice a while ago.... link

Great advice. More often than not, top pair will take pots down, so stay in a little longer than you usually would. I have been applying this lately and it has won me some big pots when I usually would have folded. Give it a shot, it helps.
