Screen Resolution Question

Is there any download/shareware software that will increase my screen resolution to 1600X1200 so i dont have to buy a new monitor? The most mine will go is 1280 x 1024.

The maximum resolution of your screen is hardware dependent. However, there might exist software to manipulate your desktop. Depending on who your graphics card manufacturer are. Visit their site and check if they have any desktop managing software. I know NVIDIA has such things.
