Read on the player in question is that he's fairly solid.

I've got a little over $400, he has about the same.

3 limpers to me in CO+1, I call with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], next player folds, Villain on the button makes it $15, BB calls, rest of us call. 6 players, $85 pot (thank you rake).

Flop is 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], it's checked to Villain who bets $25. Folds back to me, I call. $135 pot.

Turn is Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], and I bet $100. He calls.

River is Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. What's your play?

if he caught his queen, ill pay him off. if you move in, he will most likely only call with a queen.

so try and induce a bluff/bet.

I did check, and he checked too. MHING. He had A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

I think very few people here would bet the flush, just as I didn't want to, for fear of the Q, or even a 2. In fact I don't think many people would bet here on a bluff either. Think there's any hope of getting him to lay down a better flush if I push all in here? Probably not.

I think you could get him to lay it down here by pushing, but it's very very difficult for you to do so with the two pairs on the board, unless you have quite a read on the guy.
