Default Pokerstars bans Dutch Boyd, and he don\'t like it

The latest entry in Dutch Boyd's blog is about how Pokerstars won't reactivate his account. Reading the entry, I somehow think some people would email Stars to thank them for keeping him banned.

i like how he implies that it's ONLY because of stuff he said in a chat. the humor of HIM getting screwed over by a poker site is just too rich. he's a scumbag and i don't feel the slightest bit of sympathy for him.

I don't have anything against Dutch Boyd other than he looks and acts like a complete tool. I understand bankruptcy and have lost money to people who went bankrupt and didn't turn it into a lifelong vendetta.

But still, someone with his history shouldn't have the following plastered in big letters on his official site.

"Second, during our stop in Las Vegas, Bobby and I stopped at the Palms to play a little. I got into a 2-5 NL game and took it down for about $300. Doesn't sound like that much, but it helps... I'm working on a pretty thin bankroll these days."

Wow - so much for the glamorous life of a well-known poker player. I had no idea he was in such dire straits.

Nice find. That was shocking to me as well. Heck $300 swings happen every 10-15 minutes at even as low a limit as 15-30 and I expected a famous player to be talking about $10k swings or wins.

You notice he never says he was sorry for trying to shill his project (which I bet never sees the light of day) but just tries to weazle his way back by saying how much he can do for PS, and how they should work together.... What a slime ball.
