Opponent was "BadInstincts". I was playing at about 4:00 AM EST on a Thursday night, so it was just the die-hards. Table seemed pretty standard, but button (who folded here) was making rather ridiculous raises of $35 every so often. Normally I don't limp AA from any position -- maybe I will smooth call a raiser -- but in this case I thought there was a chance button was going to make an idiot raise.

At first I thought this huge overbet was middle set, hoping that either me or cutoff has QT or 88. Or some straight/nut-flush/pair-combination that gives him great equity against AQ/KQ and even odds against AA.

Then I realized he could also have had J9 for the flopped straight. All in all I think its an easy lay.

But -- what if CO didn't call? Does it get harder?
