Goooood morning,
I know that 5k is a bit early, but wanted to ask you guys to take a peek at my PT stats as they stand at 5k hands played in the 30/60 game. I dont like my VP$IP as high as it is, and am working to get it down a bit. Just got all the hands from PS last night, so take it for what it is. My VP$IP from SB seems horribly high, and probably a huge leak. Probably defending too much from BB as well. Trying to curb that after you guys took me to task for my Q8 call of a raise that ended in a train wreck. Please take a couple minutes to take a peek and critique if you will. Thanks! ![]() |

seems like a bit of a tough game.
I think it's impossible to comment on the blind stats (your steal opportunity sample size and defense sample size is tiny). you WtSD is high, particularly when combined with your VPIP...those two numbers should be negatively correlated I think. also, I think your post-flop aggression stats are a bit low, but that would also be slightly because you are playing more (worse) hands. but a bit calling station like (by winning player/2+2 standards that is)... disagree with anything? |

Playing 23% of your hands seems way too loose. Especially for the PS 30-60 game.

I don't play 30/60 so I won't make any suggestions, but comparing your VP$IP and saw flop %, it seems like you've gotten a free play out of the BB SEVEN times out of 4944 hands. that's pretty amazing
a VP$IP - PFR of 10 in a game with that much raising seems high |

Stox,
Thanks for the feedback. I agree re: the WTSD, I become a bit of a calling station in situations where I'm unsure of where I stand (Medium ace that hits vs pfraise, midpair, etc). Part of what I probably should be doing is either raising or ditching on the turn more often, instead of deciding to simply calldown. I hope these numbers will improve now that I have the info plugged into PT, and have some decent stats on my opponents, as many of the people in that game are regulars. Surprising to see some of the stats on those people. One of my opponents I have 1800 hands with, with me playing a total or 4900. Nick |

I'm assuming these numbers represent full handed play only, if you have shorthanded in there, then your data is much less informative.

Almost all is full ring. I'm a fish at SH play.

I've never played this game either, but if it's pretty similar to 15-30 then as you suggest your VPIP is a touch on the high side.
The one number that pops out at me is W%WSF. I usually interpret this number in the short term as an indication of how I've been running. Given yours, it looks like the deck has been smacking you in the face =) |

Hey,
I dont feel like it has, but I'm sure if I posted my BB/100h some people would say that. As a follow up, given those stats, what do you think the bb/100h +/- would be for me at 5k hands? Nick |

Almost all is full ring. I'm a fish at SH play. Nick [/ QUOTE ] I'm surprised you think this for 2 reasons: a) 90% of poker players I know claim to be better at short handed b) Your numbers seem too loose/aggro for a full game. |
