Damn Party step tourneys
So as a winning lower limit ($50 buyins or less) tourney player, i really like the party steps system. I started at step 1 like 10 times and made my first step 5 table and took 6th. Kinda ticks me off after all that time i get the shaft on prize money. anyone else have similar thoughts on this.

Re: Damn Party step tourneys
Yeah, it should be +EV, even for people who cant afford to buy in directly, but who realize the huge benefits of "climbing the ladder."

Re: Damn Party step tourneys
I know its been explained several times but one last FULL and EXHAUSTIVE explanation of the Steps STT for those who choose not to indulge in the Party Madness would be most appreciated.

Re: Damn Party step tourneys
Woodguy, I nominate you for most helpful poster by far at the MTT forum; you are like some swiss army knive only useful lol.
BTW, It looks kind of interesting..IF you could cash out @ level 4 for a reasonable amount. Step 3 must be a strange mix of players. If I was amzingly good (im actually pretty good at SNG) I think I would buy in at step 3. Anybody know what most the big rollers are doing?? Just sitting at the top and picking of the fish?? 2K can get expensive even for a great online player. |

Re: Damn Party step tourneys
I made it to step 5 on my first try. Steps 1-4 were really easy for me. Once I got to step 5 I could notice the difference in play. I ended up going out in 10th with what was a questionable play but ending up losing my race.
