Position definitely makes it a fold. The only time I play QTo is in the blinds. Even then, I will fold if there is a raise from a tight player or a reraise. In a loose game with a lot of players limping with poor hands, a case for playing it on the button could be made I suppose, but surely nowhere other than these 3 positions.

The only one playable IMO is ATo, only if you dont see a raise, and only against few opponents. This is because when playing hands like KTo, QTo, JTo, and even ATo, there is a substantial risk of domination. The offsuit little broadways gave me trouble for a while because they look a lot stronger than they really are. It took some pain (read: money lost) to realize these are unfavorable hands in nearly all situations outside of the blinds.

I have been experiencing some pain, and now have an idea where to look to stem the tide. Yes they sure look good. Have to break some habits here and tighten up PF. |
