This happened the other night at limit at the Horseshoe in Tunica. UTG bets flop, I raise in MP, and cutoff calls original bet as does button. Dealer apparently missed raise as well and starts to rake in the chips at which time I point out the raise. He apologizes then asks cutoff then button what they want to do. They both pull back call bets. As I had raised to protect my hand and hopefully run them out, I didn't complain; although they pulled back so quickly maybe I should have . Isn't the rule, though, to require them to match the raised bet since they had already put out half the chips?

Saw this happen on 3 separate occassions at the 5/10 Limit Game at Caesars IN. The Dealer let the players pull their bets back each time. That was just as Caesars; I don't know of any universal rule. It might just be cardroom dependent.

Commonly the rule is at the shoe: when the dealer has not made the players aware or it is obvious they weren't paying attn AND there has been no action behind them, THEN and only then would they normally be allowed to take their bets back.
It's posible there were other circunstances involved. But there you have it. |

It's usually ok to take the call back as long as there has been no action behind them. I don't know what it would be with two players only calling the original bet.

I play at the Shoe around twice a month, sometimes more.
