I see nothing wrong with the way you played it. I probably would have bet on the flop myself.

Not that I never do, but I'm not comfortable putting all my money in with a Q high flush, nor am I comfortable doing so with a flush when the board is paired...obviously in this case I would be very uncomfortable.

At these levels, I don't have much of a problem getting all of my money in with the flush on this board, although, after that J fell, i would've been more cautious. At these levels, people tend to see QJo as gold, so be careful. I think that it's a fine play and more often than not you'll run into the bare Q rather than a higher flush or a boat.

[/ QUOTE ] Actually in this case he has the Queen - Ten flush, which is the 4th best flush, not just "Queen high flush," which would be the 3rd best flush. A minor nuance. And yeah, hand was played fine. I would NOT bet out on this flop with that many opponents; they let you make your hand for nearly nothing, so it seems good. |
