Default Cherokee Harrahs Live Poker Update

I just received a response to an email I wrote to Cherokee Harrahs. According to her response, it now looks like the opening of live poker will be in March. Additionally, the Tribal Gaming Commission still has not completed the internals, which covers limits, etc.

Patience, all.

Is it in North Carolina??

For the future - It wouldn't hurt for posters to mention where they are from.
Not everyone in California knows where Turning Stone is and not everyone in Seattle knows where Tunica is.

But people from outside areas may have occasion to play t Turning Stone or Tunica in their travels somehow and the info they get here could be helpful....IF they only knew where these places are.

Too many assumptions (and I'm the ass.) The forthcoming live poker room at the Harrahs in Cherokee, NC has been kicked around so much, it didn't occur to me that it could be confused with somewhere else. My bad. But, for those that live near Atlanta, and don't require mid- to high-stakes, this is a pretty big deal, as it will be 1/2 the time or less than the drive to Tunica.

Tunica is in Mississippi. Atlanta is in Georgia. Where the hell is Turning Stone? Where's California, for that matter?

What noteworthy political events took place in Tunica? Or were you going for geography here?

You must have heard the following in your 7th grade civics class: It was in Tunica County that bluesman Robert Johnson spent his formative years and made a pact with the devil, trading his soul for his amazing talent. You didn't? Soul trading with the devil has always been big in Tunica County, which is why they have so many casinos there.
