Default Johnny Moss system for beating texas hold em

Lee Jones in his book says that Johnny Moss had a simple system to win at hold em. He simply got two big cards and bet em. Moss did no sophisticated computer simulations. He had no college degree or poker books.

He also made BIG BETS when he had not much of a hand at all. I just finished a bio of Johnny Moss, "Champion of Champions". I picked it up at the Gamber's Book Store in Vegas (this is where Sklansky was first published and you should definitely check it out when in Vegas!)

Interestingly, there's another thready about trouble moving from NL to Limit. Johnny Moss had the same problem late in his career. He was used to making the BIG BETS to drive out other players and of course this wasn't possible for him in Limit.

The book also stressed that his bankroll went through huge swings in volatility due to his betting style.
