I had just sat down at this table limited reads on most of the table except the BB who has called every thing pre flop.

at this piont I think the the CO has AK and the BB has Ace-junk. I know I'm behind but think if I get a spade or another straight card on the turn I'll stay. Should I have bet or check-raised here?

I am suprised by the BB and only call thinking he could have AJ and I am not worried about the CO.

I'm not sure you have any evidence to put him on AK. He could have a wider range of hands than AK.

If you beat the flop, and he raises, I think you could narrow his holdings down a bit more.

the turn call is probably more iffy than you think, as all your outs are somewhat dirty. Either Q gives any J a straight. So call your 2 queens 1 out. The J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] puts a flush draw on board, and any J might give you a chop with any other Q (although this is somewhat doubtfull here). So the 4 J's are probably worth 2 or 3 outs. With 3-4 outs, I fold the turn.
