Default Party Poker Passive Priver

SB is a little nutty. She called 4 bets with third pair a few hands before and also overcalled and paid off on the river. I hadn't seen much from UTG but I'm pretty sure he bought in for less than 750. UTG+1 is also solid as far as I could tell.

These people are crazy.

From last night:

Flop: (21 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, UTG checks, MP2 bets, MP3 raises, Hero 3-bets, SB calls, UTG folds, MP2 calls, MP3 calls.

Turn: (16.50 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, MP2 checks, MP3 checks, Hero bets, SB calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls.

River: (20.50 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB bets, MP2 folds, MP3 calls, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 23.50 BB

Results in white below:
SB has Qs Qd (two pair, queens and sixes).
MP3 has Ks Kc (two pair, kings and sixes).
Hero has As Ad (two pair, aces and sixes).
Outcome: Hero wins 23.50 BB.

I know this only supports everyone's feeling that I should raise.

how about instead of not raising this river you just walk outside and set fire to 60 dollars.

A couple of things about this hand take away the usual arguments about going for the overcall:

1) Given the way SB plays, she may call anyway if you raise, even when you have her beat.
2) There is already a caller. So by raising you stand to collect a bet from each of two people.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm pretty sure she would have called two more with her A6. UTG+1 had QQ and would have called one more. I'm not sure what UTG would have done with his Jh5h.

Does no one think I could be beat here, though? Why would this guy pick the river when the flush gets there to bet? I can't put him on a flush... when I'm holding it with the A and K after he raised UTG.

I like the suggestion about setting fire to $60 outside instead of passing up the river raise.

I think you hear from a flopped set or 99 a *lot* earlier than this -- and 99 probably tries to checkraise figuring someone just hit their flush.

I think raising might actually loose a bet. The other two players overcalled the river...that's one bet more than a raise would likely acomplish. If it was 3-bet you couldn't cap...the bettor could likely have made 9's full...maybe he value betting TT or JJ, but still raising would be silly. I like the call.
