Wow, listening to him is painful right now on "Poker Royale: The WPPA Championship". [/ QUOTE ] Obviously he has joined the list of celebrities who have fallen in love with being on TV for card game events. Also this show is the most boring poker show currently on TV. Late Nite Poker is more boring but it's 30 minutes. This is seriously not interesting at all unless you like to only see all-in hands. |

Those were some of the worst years of Weekend Update ever.

I keep expecting him to say, "And now, here's the poker news from ten feet away..."

Wow, listening to him is painful right now on "Poker Royale: The WPPA Championship". [/ QUOTE ] I found his partner, Evelyn Ng, to be even more annoying. (I know that's going to get flamed by half the guys on this forum, because she is like SO HOT, dude!! Well, she was like off-screen, dude, and you could hear her but not see her.) She speaks in a too-fast monotone, and does not add any player insight to the commentary. When Kathy Liebert folded 72o, all Ng said was, "The worst hand in poker." Typical of the commentary. |

You can't say they didn't provide awesome advice.
1. Play good cards. 2. Fold if you don't have a good hand. 3. Bet if you have a good hand. I'm glad I wrote these down. Feel free to copy into a Word file for those of you STRUGGGG-A-LING with your play. |

But I think they did crib those from Phil's book. |

I couldn't agree more, exactly how are you going to take a guy from SNL seriously?
