I am almost break-even with a set... I'm leading the lone Ace or king of spades... I lead TPTK, I am almost break-even with AA-QQ if they don't have a spade.... The only hands I'm really a dog to here are an OP w/ spade or a made flush. I felt the former was more likely than the latter, at least enough so to call the raise with pot odds

I think you can rule out TPTK from hands you can put villain on. I rarely see somebody early position raise preflop with AT.

I think you can also rule out overpair with no spade. Why would he checkraise all in with overpair with no spade? wouldn't most people bet overpair no spade on that flop?

you are not that ahead of AK with either A clubs or K clubs. you are almost dead coinflip.

I don't like the call at all. Even if he had AA KK or QQ there's a 50% chance one of them is a spade. From his pre-flop bet, I would have begged him of having an A or a K suited. That 5 bucks was a nice probing bet and he answered...you just didn't listen to the answer he gave you.
