River: (16 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG+1 bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 18 BB
Main Pot: 18 BB, between UTG+1 and Hero.

I really wanted to fols this river, but thought the pot was too big. In hindsight i don't think my hand is good here 6% of the time or whatever.

That's tough man but I think you have to fold. With a read on this guy as a habitual bluffer or LAG than I make make the call. But against an unknown party 2/4 players, I'm folding. I doubt you're good here 1 in 30

I can't lay this down getting 18-1.

What does he check/raise the turn and then bet out on the river on that board that you beat?

He could be thinking you missed your straight "draw". He could have AsKs or something similar. Whether this is true often enough to make a call correct, I don't know... that involves math I'm not ready to do right now

really didn't realize this was a board paired a second time...

which makes this a less obvious situation... but it's still a call.

more often than not you'll lose, obviously, and with a read you can certainly push this to a fold

but not here.
