Re: Spotting 2+2 ers at the tables
Person 1 (who suspects Person 2 may be a 2+2er): The brown trout sleeps in the closet.
Person 2 (who is, as suspected, a 2+2er): Aye, she does. Seriously. |

Re: Spotting 2+2 ers at the tables
Are you really serious bdk3clash? Thats pretty awesome if 2+2 ers really do that.
I'm probably going to look like some kinda looney in the chat asking if the brown trout sleeps in the closet |

Re: Spotting 2+2 ers at the tables
I'm serious. Search the archives for "+brown +trout" without the quotes but with the +s.
You'll get some weird responses at the tables when you say this but it's legit. PS-Do not respond "Hey, 2+2?" if you see this, as that kind of defeats the purpose. |

Re: Spotting 2+2 ers at the tables
I usually respond "Si senor!!" (just because i have to be differnt).
But yes....just saying "brown trout??" usually is enough. and, yes, search for the past few months for brown + trout and you'll see this is legit. |

Re: Spotting 2+2 ers at the tables
I have run into few players live I thought were 2+2 and asked, "you know anything about brown trout?" Still haven't had anyone respond that they know where they sleep. They just give a funny look.

You'll also probably find the recent thread asking newbies to please stop doing this.

Re: Spotting 2+2 ers at the tables
[ QUOTE ]
you know anything about brown trout? [/ QUOTE ] Brown trout are native to Europe and western Asia, but have been introduced worldwide. They are generally regarded as the most difficult of the trout to catch on flies, because they feed selectively and the bigger ones tend to be mostly nocturnal. They reproduce naturally quite well in good habitat and usually don't have to be restocked once introduced. Sorry, I'm a fly fisherman as well as a poker player. |
