Copag also makes plastic cards. I bought some about a month ago and they've held up through a lot of abuse. You can get them on Ebay. I strongly reccomend them. (not affiliated yadayada)

I ordered these a few weeks ago. They arrived in time for my home game yesterday and my players loved them

Not as good as KEMs but they are, as the site says, "an excellent alternative to Arrow Wide Size Cards"

When I tried to return some kems that a bastard marked, I was told that they would be back up and running in Q1 2005.

In response to the original post, stay away from the "Royal" brand of plastic cards, just buy packs of paper cards instead.

I was looking at those on the kardwell site and was going to post here to see if anyone had ordered them and if htey liked them.. I like the design, so I may have to go ahead and order them.

I also heard Kem should be back in full swing in early '05 as well.

I have two decks of KEM cards and snagged two Copags and I love them, as nice or maybe even a bit nicer than my Kems, and competitive price-wise as well.

I got my set of Copags last week from a nice seller on eBay- they ship fast and cheap ( 14.96 per setup including $0.01 shipping ) They also have a web site - http://www.cardsbycopag.com . They also sell A-Plus and other setups as well.

But call me picky, I am not a huge fan of the front design of the card. For instance, the font they use for the denomination (A, 9, 5 etc etc) is a little too thick. I like the font used on Bicycles - which are much thinner.

Also, I don't like the face card design. The bounding box and the pictures are too small, and doesn't utilize as much space as it could. I think its important that you can see what the card is from the farthest end of the table, without the cards being jumbo index (yuck).

I went to the Borgata this weekend and I really liked their cards. I couldn't see what brand they were, but I would like to get a setup of those. Everything about them were really nice, from the face cards, the fonts, and the ACES. The ace pips were oversized, which really look nice. If anyone knows, please let me know.
