Stars 650 bahamas qualifier.

Kinda got caught up in the moment.

Fold to the PF reraise, or am I being results oriented and push was right?

wow.

First of all, I wouldn't re-raise preflop. That's the biggest mistake here.

Second of all, now that you did, you have to fold when he reraises you. He's just SCREAMING AA/KK and the raise is half your stack, so its all going on the line this hand.

Yea, my thought was that this guy had been playing really LAG to this point though. He had been down to ~1K and back up to about 3.5K and now back down.

I was just having a hard time putting him on AA or KK, or at least believing myself if I did.

If he has any pair at all you're a dog. Call a raise and take a flop.

the pf reraise is fine, but i would have made it more than 3x his raise, maybe 4-5x. Going allin with this hand is borderline in my eyes tho, I think i probably would have folded but i am not certain.

Funny how all the LAG players here always describe a villain as LAG....and when I analyze a hand I always assume the player has nuts....It works both ways but Ive railed endlessly about the dangers of AK there really is no point in describing why it isnt a hand to put yur early tourney on

Zaxx19, all you ever seem to do is enter threads and tell people (who are generally very good players) how crap they are. You never seem to contribute anything meaningful to these forums, you just sit around and bitch all day. Why?

there are quite a few posters here who advocate often going all in with AK. i am not one of them. i dont see how you lose all of your stack here preflop i would have just called the reraise hoping he had KK but you cant come over the top here.
