QJ vs. K7. Inconsistent results!
Ok QJs vs. K7s. Who wins heads up. If you go to
http://twodimes.net/poker/?g=h&b=&d=...+Jh%0D%0AKd+7d it shows K7 is a fav (54%). Now this program does the specific hands. If you go to: http://www.gocee.com/poker/HE_Val_Sort.htm QJ is a 60.3% fav vs random hands heads up. K7s is a 57.8% fav vs random hands heads up. So what's going on here. If K7s is better than QJs, why isn't K7s vs a random hand better than QJs vs a random hand. I am confused on this. Please help Chadash |

Re: QJ vs. K7. Inconsistent results!
QJ is better against a random hand because it will often have two overcards against a random hand. More often than K7.
However, K7 beats QJ HU. You get the same result with something like KQs vs A2o. KQs is better on average -- two big broadway cards will crush most other hands out there like T8o and such. On the other hand, something like A2o doesn't crush T8o. It's just a little ahead. But, of course, A2o > KQs when you're HU. |
