AA hand from 2+2 mix table
For those of you in playing micro games who are looking to improve their game, I highly suggest that you play in 2+2 tables when you get the chance. My line in this hand would be strange in a typical .5/1 game, but I feel like it might be correct given the game conditions.
On to this hand. THe table was about half 2+2er's and half regular party players...they had no idea what was hitting them. Button is a loose-passive (60/2) and has been a donator the entire night. MP3 is a 2+2er who I had never played with before. I think that he had a much harder time adjusting to me then I did to him. His stats were 25/12 over about 150 hands, but he played in a pretty ABC fassion. Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converter Preflop: Shillx is MP1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. 3 folds, Shillx calls, 1 fold, MP3 raises, Button calls, SB calls, BB calls, Shillx 3-bets, MP3 caps, Button calls, BB calls, Shillx calls. Turn: (13.50 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players) Shillx bets, MP3 raises, Button 3-bets, Shillx caps, MP3 calls, Button calls. River: (25.50 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players) Shillx checks, MP3 checks, Button checks. Final Pot: 25.50 BB Main Pot: 25.50 BB, between Shillx, MP3, CO, Button and SB. So how did I do? Comments appreciated on all streets (the preflop limp-reraise was sort of an inside joke between me and some other 2+2er's, but I still had other valid reasons for doing it). Brad |

Re: AA hand from 2+2 mix table
I probably play this the same...except I bet the river.
The raise from the LP-P player is somewhat scary...I think he might have aces beat - but I still think I bet this river. Alex |

Re: AA hand from 2+2 mix table
Yeah her 3-bet scared me (censored)less. I had the auto-raise button clicked. That is why I checked the river.

Re: AA hand from 2+2 mix table
How does one find these tables?
I skimmed some money and have dropped back down to 0.5/1. |

I don't understand your flop play.

Re: AA hand from 2+2 mix table
I have a feeling that Button got the last laugh on this one. Flopped set. The other 2+2er probably had AK or high pair not KK and was looking isolate you with the raise. Interested in what the results were.

Result
Result:
2+2er had AK Button had K8 And MHIG By playing this hand passively, I got MP3 (the 2+2er) to overplay his hand on the turn. By showing strength on the flop, both players probably would have just called me down. The button turn 3-bet really scared me, as you probably figured out. Brad |
