Default Folding. Sometimes you just have to?

You flop top two pair, CR the field, the turn comes and you bet out and get raised. The pattern of betting makes you strongly believe that you are behind to a straight but you have odds to draw to the FH so you call. You miss the boat but then realise there's a lot of bets in the pot and you have a hand.
Does this call for a tough fold? Or is it all based on the likelyhood that you are behind (ie in TOP). How do you accurately assess how accurate you are in your hand reading or does that just come with more experience? I'd have put a 90% accuracy on my read but that would have just been a made up figure.

Thanks.

Not much info there so I'll give you a basic response. Call. It's hard to tell if calling or folding is a big mistake in the situation you're describing, but when calling is a mistake its usually tiny, when folding is a mistake it can be huge.

Clearly you've got to call here. The pot would be too big for a fold to be correct even if you only win 1/6 times.
