Well it depends. To a company yes. To another person that I do not know, NO!

Re: Would you give out your e-mail, players name and other info for $1
BTW, this isn't really mean't to be a slam. In this day and age, I think this is a very interesting question.
My theory would be that low limit players are far more likely to say "Yes" than high limit players. For high limit players $100 is likely to be insignificant and annonimity is far more valuable where the field is much smaller. While for low limit players $100 may be far more significant and there are so many players at these levels anonimity is not very significant (unless you're unpopular or are known as a bad player and worried about getting targetted) In addition, I'd expect lurkers to be far more likely to vote "No" than gregarious posters due to their differing natures - It's not uncommon for players in large/significant tournaments to come here or the MTT forum looking for sweat and reveal their player IDs. So, if you voted "No", at what dollar amount, if any, would you reveal your player ID &etc? |

what is 'other information'? [/ QUOTE ] Shoe size and height The title of this poll is a quote from Gabyyy in the ongoing Gabyyy flamage where (s)he was offered a $100 Neteller transfer in return for some hand histories claiming 10 quad hands in 2 hours. So, the information would be the hand histories (which may or may not reveal your player name, actually - if you sat at the same table there may have been a bunch of other players who were present for all the hands) and the Neteller info required to do the transfer (I believe just the email adddress?) The original context was that the hand histories would be posted publically but was ammened to be just an impartial, third party. Since this may have been ambiguous, assume your player ID and email address will be public (ie: "Worst case scenario"). |

I play SNG's. Even at the highest limits, the largest side effect of a good player knowing my nick is that they skip my table. Fine with me...
If I was a cash game player, though, no way in hell. |
