Can I get by playing Sklanskys group 5 hands and up ?
This is assuming 8 players or more at a 5 and 10 dollar fixed limit game. I realize less players is a factor . This also would assume an average game with both tight and loose players. Could I get by with group 4 up etc? Regards

Depends on how well you play postflop - this is way more important.

hand selection isn't that simple. it depends on your position, whether someone has raised ahead of you, etc.

if you mean could you win with correct play as long as you only start with group 4 hands or better the answer is yes imo
if you mean could you win by playing group 4 hands or better in any position after any previous action then the answer is no imo |
