Default 3 Handed 44 on button

Hey, not sure what is best way to play this hand. In this qualifer, 1st qualfies for MTT, 2nd gets entry back. I am pretty sure that my 3BB raise is no good...I was thinking at the time that I could get away from an allin reraise, but after it happened and I calculated some odds I pretty much had to call it (very likely he has 2 overcards and I was slightly ahead). So my main quesiton is whether I should have pushed initially with the 44 (maximizing folding equity), or just dumped it. What do you guys think? Cant get hand converter to work w/ it so here is pure HH:

Just push. There is about an 8% chance one of the players to your left has a higher pair and less chance you will be called by a higher pair.

AT would probably have called you, but you have the advantage and pot odds. There is nothing you can do about this kind of loss, unless you wnat to play weak/tight and get blinded out.

I have two rules I almost always follow:

1. If I have more than 1/3 of my stack in the pot preflop, I never fold to a raise.

2. If I have a small pocket pair and will call a reraise preflop I go all-in directly.
