Default 92ND GREY CUP THREAD

Don't look now, but Robert Baker just scored a highlight reel touchdown for the Argonauts.

17-10 Toronto heading into halftime.

Wow, I live in the states and am actually a fan of the Tragically Hip. Ditto Tea Party and Big Wreck, two of my all-time favorites.

Errrr, what is the Grey Cup?

The Grey Cup is the national football championship in Canada. It's our Super Bowl for the Canadian Football League.

The teams competing are the Toronto Argonauts (Boatmen) and the BC Lions (British Columbia).

The game is being played in Ottawa, the capital of Canada.

The Grey Cup is in its' 92nd year, making it professional football's oldest championship.

Argonauts open the 2nd half with an early touchdown.

BC replied with a field goal... Toronto leading 24-13 in the 3rd quarter.

Still no sign of Casey Printers at quarterback for the Lions.

BTW... Toronto's pivot is Damon Allen... NFL fans know his brother Marcus Allen.

Damon Allen has suffered a knee injury for Toronto.

Michael Bishop is in as his replacement. Still no Casey Printers for the Lions yet.

24-13 heading to the 4th quarter.

Oooops! Lions miss the extra point.

24-19.

BTW... Michael Bishop was the guy who finished 2nd to Ricky Williams in Heisman voting.
