Poker Rooms in London, Dublin ?
I will be in London and Dublin in the first week of December. What rooms should I consider visiting for a no limit (small blinds) game ?
Are there "membership" rules to deal with ? Truepoker CEO |

Re: Poker Rooms in London, Dublin ?
i play at the vic in london. the smallest game they run is 1/2 pound pl with a min buyin of 50. it is insanely easy. the next level is 3/3 pound pl. you need to fax over a membership form the day before there. you can get one online somehwere by searching for the grosvenor victoria. attire is business casual

Re: Poker Rooms in London, Dublin ?
There's 2 main casinos in Dublin.
Ther Merrion Card club, and the Fitzwilliam Card club. Biggest tournaments are €200 freezeout, or once-a-month €250 freezeout in the Fitzwilliam. Cash games also available: €50 min buyin, hold-em/Omaha (a round of each), blinds 1-2 for HE, 1-1 for Omaha. Everything else is tournaments. PM/email if you have any more Qs! |

Re: Poker Rooms in London, Dublin ?
In Britian and Ireland, almost all cash games are pot limit, mostly holdem and Omaha. Tournaments are pot limit or no limit. In continental Europe, they usually play mostly pot limit, but there is also a lot of limit poker.
