Default Cold-Call a 3-bet Pre-flop?

You guys ever cold-call a 3-bet pre-flop? I can remember doing it only once (with J-J). While I know we don't like "always" and "never" here, would it be a good rule to never cold-call 3 pre-flop?

The spots where I would consider cold-calling a 3 bet always involve maniacs. If someone who raises 95% of the hands 3 bets another loose cannon I might cold call 3 with AQs. Against predictable/tight opponents I can see cold-calling 3 perhaps with AKs. I defintely think there are spots for it. Whenever I see a player who isn't a complete moron cold call 3, it is usually AK or JJ.

I can recall situations where I called 3-bets pre flop with a hand as weak as QJs. I can probably recall more where I folded JJ to a 3-bet, though.

Default Never.

I NEVER cold-call pre-flop, whether it's 2, 3, or 4 bets. I either raise or fold 100% of the time.

How can you never cold call preflop? Let's say you are in a good game, somebody raises, 3 bad players cold call, and you have pocket 7s. You think the options here are raise or fold?
