Moderately interesting online 5/10 hand
so here's a hand from a semi-loose online 5/10 game. opponents are to all appearances not good, but not total clowns either.
i have kts on the button. three limpers to me, earliest in mid position. i consider a raise and just call. both blinds in. flop is t32, rainbow, none of my suit. checked to the first limper, who bets. the other two limpers fold, i raise, the small blind folds, big blind calls two cold, and the original bettor calls. turn is a 7, putting a 2-flush out. the first limper bets again. i raise, the bb calls two cold, and the first limper calls. river is a non-flush 8. now the sb leads. first limper calls. i call. comments on turn and river play? cepstrum |

Re: Moderately interesting online 5/10 hand
I'm concerned that the SB could fold the flop, then bet the river. I would have to have a monster to try that play.
I would raise pre-flop, but post-flop I probably play this the same way. |

Re: Moderately interesting online 5/10 hand
well, see, the sb asked if he could unfold if he matched the pot. i said no, but the others overruled me.
i think what makes the hand interesting is in any case not the bb's lead on the river, but the flop/turn bettor's reaction to same. it's clear that the flop/turn bettor has been thinking about what i have throughout the hand, though perhaps not very effectively. in any case i viewed my river overcall as exceedingly marginal. cepstrum |
