Favorite MTT or SnG tourneys...
Anybody have one or some that they play regularly for the fishy (or other) value? One of my favorites is Pokerroom's nightly guaranteed. Competition is awful for a nice payout. I also like partys' PL Omaha hi lo for the same reasons. Anyone else?

Re: Favorite MTT or SnG tourneys...
5 dollar SNG @ UB are pretty fishy just lay low for 15 minutes on the 6 man tables and yull probably down to 3-4 and 2 pay. Ive tracked my play and i make 1st or 2nd like 59% of the time which is really unreal--win rate is like 38% compared to an expected 16.6% can't do much better than that in a game of chance like poker imho...

Re: Favorite MTT or SnG tourneys...
Many posters here say - and I agree - that the $10 + 1 with rebuys, $20,000 guaranteed on Pokerstars is one of the best values around. When I have time to sit down and play a MTT, that's where I go. Some of the play is truly terrible - especially during the rebuy period.

Re: Favorite MTT or SnG tourneys...
I agree with top6, the nightly stars 10$ rebuy 20k guaranteed is a great tourney. There is a very good prize pool when you shouldn't be putting in too much money. It is also very easy to build up a big stack early on and allows for a lot of play. There are tons of maniacs who go crazy in the rebuy period and make this tourney my favorite.

Re: Favorite MTT or SnG tourneys...
If you like rebuys, the UB rebuys are also pretty weak.
I'd say the $20 is fishier than the Stars $10 rebuy and the $50 isn't much better. In fact, the $50 UB rebuy isn't even in the same league as a $30 rebuy at Stars. <small sample warning>I've only played 3 of the UB tourneys so I'm a little short of my Stars sample (60+), but I have seen very few players at UB that seem to have any clue regarding basic rebuy strategy. So, it's a different fishy than Stars (too tight as opposed to the too loose Stars regulars) but still very fishy. Otherwise, Party tourneys at any buyin are pretty good. Haven't been playing SNG's lately so I can't comment there... Later, Che |
