Default Fledgling MTT player satellite tourney ?s

Qualified for this Sunday's Stars $200+15 tourney thru the $3+rebuys satellite late night. First time I've tried something like this and it felt pretty neat - gaining entry to such a large tourney for only $9!

Question for the more experienced MTT players out there: How much effort do you put into satellites? Heavy, considerable, moderate, light, hardly any? If these are worth concentrating on, what sort of ratio do you look for between satellite entry fee/tourney entry fee? In this example, 1 seat was given for every 72 entries. Is that too many to fight thru regularly?

I guess what I'm asking is IF the normal entry is more than you are confortable investing (whether it's $200 or $2000), what sort of deal do you look for in a satellite, and how many times will you generally try?

I'd really like to take a stab a qualifying for the PP Million, but wonder if I should look at a $64 single-table qualifier (which I have hardly any experience with), or a low $ multi in which I have to work thru several times as many players.

one last... so how's the Stars $200? Much of an overlay?

TIA

Will

There will not be an overlay in the Stars $215. As far as satellites go, the easiest satellite ever created are the Stars $11 + rebuys to the weekly $200+15. Most players are not able to adapt to the RAPIDLY escalating blinds, and find themselves severely shortstacked once it is close to the bubble.
