Default The Blinds - Poker Tracking Software Shows it\'s a Big Drawdown

Board,

I know the blinds can be a big leak in the chip stack, however, until I started running the tracking software during sessions on Party Poker, I didn't realize just how significant it could be. The number of hands tracked so far is not huge, about 30K, but it is enough to show me how big of a leak it is (okay, at least in my game).

I typically don't defend my blinds unless I have a good enough hand that I would call a raise from another position. However, I am wondering if I should change this strategy. I would appreciate other opinions and strategies on how to keep up with the drawdown of the blinds.

Thanks
