Default AJo and KQo

Is it correct to call in early position with AJo and KQo in a typical Party $3/$6 game?

Textbook recommendation is fold in a tight game (3-5 players see the flop on average), call in a loose game (6-8 players see the flop on average).

No, you should raise them...I will raise them in any position except the blinds when there are a lot of limpers, but make it AQ and it turns into any position...

Which textbook? I'd much rather play AJo against 1 or 2 players....versus 7 or 8.

This question must get asked once per month. The prevailing opinion of most good players is that for KQo, and maybe even for AJo, there doesn't appear to be much difference in long-term EV between calling, folding or raising from EP.

i'd raise with both, espeically if i'm the first one in.

but the real point to me responding to this post is that the new Eminem CD, Encore, is pretty good, but not as good as Eminem Show. There are a couple of tracks that are just hilarious.

Is that really the prevailing opinion? I would agree that there is not that much difference between raising and calling from EP with KQo and AJo in a typical $3/6 game. I thought that was the prevailing opinion. I think folding is significantly worse but I am willing to be convinced otherwise.

Miller specifically mentions AJo and KQo as hands you can play in early position in the 3-5 player game. He doesn't say to raise them, but he sure as hell doesn't say to fold them.
