Should I have played it differently?

I like it and would have played it the same way. Although depending on my read of UTG, I might cap the flop to try and get a free card on the turn. Oddly enough, you got it anyway.

I very highly doubt that you won, but folding for 1 BB on the river would be incorrect.

I'd cap the flop. Otherwise, nice hand.

i think i would bet the turn to make weaker flush draws pay. river call is ok, but i see a very low chance of you winning this hand. fold would not be unreasonable here since any ace or a ten or a made small flush beats you.

I disagree. Take the free card, it's likely you're behind given the flop action.

Calling the river is very correct, and folding would be incorrect. He has to be right only 7.4% of the time to make it pay off.

Nice hand, sir.

I think you played it very well. I agree w/ Thebram that folding to one bet is incorrect. I think your opponent had AT giving him the full house.
Similar thing happened to me the other night, but I think you HAVE to call. I want to do some more research on this though, as I think it's a bad habit to call, even for one bet, knowing you are probably beat.

The problem with betting the turn is that our hero is likely behind, taking the free card is the line.

Peace,

I'd cap the flop.

A good player or even one with 2-pair will bet the turn out in front of you. Raise the flop and call a 3-bet, hero's flop line is correct.

Peace,

12 outs to the nut straight/nut flush; you need about 1.5 callers for value and BB's already proven he isn't going anywhere. Why not cap for value?
