Default Bottom set vs. LAG that won\'t let up

SB is 50% VPIP, AF = 2
MP1 is 70% VPIP, AF < 1

Was I right to cap this the whole way?

i might just call the 3-bet on the river. other than that, i don't see a spot where calling is even a choice.

I think I'd cap everything too because the flop is pretty ragged. Even if you happened to be behind, surely capping with a set turned house is correct everytime, barring some very specific reads. Worst case is 77 or A7/A6 for SB...? You can't narrow an aggro player down to that everytime, can you?

id say if an AF of 2 on the SB, maybe a hand like A/x of hearts with worst case scenario of having x = 7, since nobody raised preflop. but with his 50VPIP its difficult to put him on any hand, so i think your line is fine.

check/cap on the flop by the SB is very suspicious. The worst case scenario would be A7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], or 77. I can't imagine someone crazy enough to cap with anything else. Please post the results, I'm very interested in what SB had.

Capping this all the way looks good to me. Nice hand.

Absolutely, I would cap all the way with no 3 to a flush/straight. The only thing that you can think that you're behind on the flop or turn is QQ or 77. The only halfway (not even halfway, really) scary card is the 2nd ace, but not so much with all the action leading up to it.
