Default Rakeback Affiliate Website Up and Running

Rake Rebate Review

Well I have a list of several rake back affiliates with their rooms offered and payback %'s. I am still awaiting word back from several who wanted to be included but did not include how they wanted to be contacted or what name they wanted to go by. If you are one of these people please email me back! pokeraddict@pokeraddict.net Free listing for at least the rest of the year.

This is still under construction, there will be a forum and a way to rate the affiliates but need to figure out a way to have affiliates rated by quality, not popularity.

I welcome any feedback this is far from complete. Right now there are only 6 on the list, hopefully if this takes off many will want to be added and those who have expressed interest but not completed info will get back to me.

looks like an awesome start.

if it were my site, i would make a comment near the top that explained the site's goal is to provide impartial listings, and that the banners and links you have placed there are to help offset costs of running the domain.

perhaps you could provide a link to your banners or even a banner farm, but i would not put too much advertisement on the main page. the one or two you have now should be ok, but i would not put any more unless they were on a second page.

I know it is your site and all, and you want to make something off of it. But if you must put a big banner right in the middle please make it one that isnt doing so much flashing.

This will probably be covered when you get the forums running, but I'll suggest it anyway. On the main page, can you set up some type of link for feedback to be left and read for each of the affiliates? Or perhaps an information page that lists credentials (eg 2+2 username and more detailed information that can be left about their rebate program)?

I know stuff like PSO is fairly explainatory with the website and all, but I wouldn't feel comfortable just signing up with someone when there's nothing but a hyperlink to an email address. Essentially those (I think there are 2 right now) would just be a blind commitment and contract with someone unknown without credibility.

Anyway, I'm sure these issues will be resolved. The site looks great, and I hope a nice profit is made for your efforts.

Yes this will be done. I figured getting it up and running would get the ball rolling on people who had expressed interest but wanted to see it up before trying. There will be a forum, probably Monday or Tuesday. My issue was getting people saying "Yes I want to be listed but want to see what you will be doing first" a chance to see it. Sometime in the middle of the night Monday or Tuesday I will be transfering it to another server and redoing it, basically I just cloned an existing website I have for speed to give people the idea of what I had in mind and of course for suggestion like your and many others.

I am very open to suggestions or complaints.

Im interested in seeing how you are going to keep the slime affiliates from making lies or rating other affiliates poorly to make themselves look good.

Perhaps a system where each affiliate on the site can put up a list of some people that endorse them. Like affiliate x could say rusty JEDI is under me and gives his stamp of approval. I know a lot of people dont care who i think is good, but maybe some people out there garner enough respect to make something like that meaningful.

but what stops you from giving me a stamp of approval, and then I give you a GREAT review, when in reality I'm not even signed up under your affiliate link? And I was helping you look like a great affiliate, for some reason?

I would think people would get friends to help them appear as a good affiliate, even if they aren't.

My idea was on my forum to create a thread/category for each affiliate and allow and hope for feedback on each affiliate. I hope all the affiliates that registered with me were realizing that this was a way to be rated and must be on the up and up. The forum will allow me IP tracing and return visit tracing, of course this could be abused by deleting cookies and reconnecting on a dial up over and over but hopefully I would catch on to any postings of affiliate x having 10 shills post on their behalf.

As of now the site obviously can not guarantee whether an affiliate is going to screw them. This is an investment and over a couple of months will expose any of the ones that screw player.

One complaint will mean nothing. Following Casinomeister has shown me how many complaints are just rogue players trying to screw the casinos. It is when a number of complaints come in on one affiliate will we know that they are rogue.

Like I said I am 100% for any input, good or bad on the website, it is the only way to make this exactly what the players want.

I think it would be helpful to put all the affiliates on a grid such as you see in "Consumer Reports" magazine, with the affiliates listed in a column on the left-hand margin, and the "items to be considered" in a row across the top. Such items of interest could include sites offered, rake-return-rates (perhaps several different rates shown, grouped by amount of monthly rake generated by the player), whether or not the affiliate has an individual tracker for each player (thus avoiding the "how do I figure my rake-back" hassle currently being discussed in another thread), amount of initial sign-up bonus, "customer satisfaction" rating), etc. Also it would be helpful to know the medium by which payments will be made (neteller to neteller, etc) and the guaranteed day of the month before which the previous month's return will be paid. This should pretty well cover it.

This type of grid setup would standardize things so that a potential customer could see all pertinent info at a glance..

Thanks for the good work so far.
