Default late MTT question

Here's a hypothetical question I've been pondering:

Your the short stack late in a MTT w/ 11-12 BB. Your standrd raise has been 5 BB. You pick up a hand you want to play, say AQ suited. Should you make a standard raise, which gets you pretty pot-committed, or raise all-in. Being the short stack I could see the larger stacks calling just to try and knock you out. I'm thinking a stop n go may be the best play, but what flops would you go/no go with? How would your startegy change if you had AA or 88?
