Default Advice on Moving Up please...

Here's some thoughts/goals I had on how I would progress to higher limits. Support or flame away but your input is appreciated.

I multi-table (4) at Party Poker.

I had been very successful at $0.50/$1.00 but then experienced an EXTREME downswing when I first tried to move up that brought my bankroll down to about 275BB at $0.50/$1.00.

I rededicated myself (don't we all? ) to reading (and actually absorbing) Ed's book to improve my play and beginning a week ago Sunday I've been on fire...

Anyway, my thoughts on moving up were that as my bankroll reached 100BB above the 300BB "standard", I would switch one of my tables from $0.50/$1.00 to $1.00/$2.00. Another 100BB, another table until the switch would be complete at $700 (which would be 350 BB for $1.00/$2.00). I then thought I could keep applying that same logic to move up to $2.00/$4.00.

My dilemna is that because I have been playing so well lately ($0.50/$1.00 - 2,033 hands @ 10.81BB/100; $1.00/$2.00 - 2,731 hands @ 8.39BB/100), and I know that this is an EXTREMELY short run, am I really ready to "upgrade" one of my tables to $2.00/$4.00 so soon??

And I do have a plan (again, maybe faulty logic) that if I do experience downswings I would implement my plan in reverse.

Helpful advice wanted!
