Default The most informational 6-max posts for newbies.

This is a compilation of the previous thread from Guido condensed somewhat, with additions from me.

Guido's Suggested Reading:
Starting Hands:
The Basics
Pre-Flop Agression ; More agression from David Ross

Some Straightforward hands: General Hand questions from Guido; Guido's Hands Part 2

For those of you looking to up that BB/100 here's Guido's Blind Stealing and Defense thread

Nemesis' Suggested Reading:

Standard Play with an A weak kicker

A basic, but somewhat flawed (with those flaws discussed) starting hand CHART for 6-max

A paired flop with you holding a pocket pair, great analysis of the play.

in spite of your avatar (rub it in why don't you!!) i will thank you for a solid post and something that I suspect will be most helpful to this 6-max newbie.
I've already run across some of these threads already (including jason's PF chart and guido's quiz) but I suspect a lot of the other threads will help me a lot.

oddly enough I'm in the process of replacing GWB with a hot chick. Preferably a GIF with bouncing boobs like last time, but a little less explicit.

I thought this had a good turnout and, for me at least, gave alot of good ideas for some tough preflop spots.

they aren't bouncing, but they're just as distracting

I was a fan of your bouncing avatar though...very hypnotic.

This Post has definetly got me on the right track for 6-max holdem.
I played 2 hours this morning and lost 400 (5/10) and i read some posts on here, and now i just played for 2 hours and won 45 dollers.
i realize short term means nothing but i can tell you that I was playing about 4X too many hands, and far too aggressively. anyways thanks nemesis.
