Default Player/affiliate relationship is permanent at Party Poker

If you have signed up with an affiliate or directly through partypoker.com and wish to later on open a new account to take advantage of a rake rebate deal/get a better rake rebate deal with someone else, this is not possible. Not even after closing account and waiting for 6 months. I asked Party about it to clear things up. I don't know what other skins policies are. See email:

Dear Party Poker,

I have a few questions concerning affiliate loyalty and resigning up under an affiliate.

1. If I close my Party Poker account and after 6 months reopen using an affiliate bonus code, is this possible, if:

A) I have originally signed up with an affiliate. Who gets the 25% monthly gross revenue, affiliate 1 (original) or affiliate 2 (the one used after 6 months)?

B) I have directly signed up through partypoker.com and am not linked to an affiliate yet. If I close account and resign up after 6 months with some affiliates bonus code, does he get my 25% rake?

2. Is the waiting period 6 months?

Hi,

If you have signed up at Party already, you would not be able to resign up under any affiliate.

Even if you wait for 6 months, you will have to use the same account.

If you have further questions and/or concerns, we will be glad to assist you further.

Sincerely,

So, your options are:

1. If you really want to stick with party and get a rake rebate, open an account using your wifes name.

- fraud.

2. Go to a skin (Empire, Eurobet, Multi, Coral, Pokernow...)

- Intelligent. Some skins pay affiliates more anyway. (up to 35%). Play ring games at skins and multi tournees at Party.

3. Go somewhere else.

I don't think party's official policys on this were ever in question.
