Purpose of having an affiliate at Poker Champs?

What is the benefit of having an affilate at PokerChamps if you get 50% rake back without them?

I don't understand the question.

The purpose of an affiliate is to get new players to a site, not to somehow benefit the player.

Well...on most sites, the affiliate gets some sort of rake back for signing up a player, but in this case, the player already gets rake back, so what do affilates get?
