For those of you who play 5-10SH, how much rakeback do you get on average per hour and table?.What rake back percentage is your reply based on?

do the math yourself
average rake for a hand of 5/10 6 max is around $1.55 - the average players per hand will be about 5.5 - so your individual rake for 1 hand is .28c 1 table, say 85 hands an hour and your rake is $23.80 there are plenty of trustworthy affiliates who will offer you 20%+ of your rake back - 4 tabling at 20% back would be around $19 an hour stripsqueez - chickenhawk |

do the math yourself [/ QUOTE ] Well there's a reason I asked. If I had played any 5-10SH I would have made the math myself. The problem is I only have 3-6 and 15-30 10-handed in my pokertracker database but plan on trying out 5-10SH. Thanks for your reply though. I have just signed up trough an affiliate giving me 22.5%. |

I come up with different figures but my 5/10 database is only 60,000 hands.
In the Summary Tab the Avg. Rake seems to be based on hands that saw a flop. Over to the left you see 3 hand total figures: Total Hands, Raked Hands and Hands With Flop (HWF). If you divide the Total Rake by each of these figures it is the HWF that equates to the Avg.Rake figure on the left. At 10/20 HWF and Raked hands are almost the same but there is a large difference at 5/10. You have to divide the HWF by Total hands to see the percentage of hands paying the Avg.Rake. In my database for 5/10 I have: Hands 60,501 Raked 44,660 HWF 53,196 Players 5.31 Total Rake 78,363 Avg Rake $1.47 53,196/60,501=88% of hands pay $1.47 the other 12% pay nothing $1.47/5.31= 27.7c is your share 27.7x20%= 5.5c is your rakeback at 20% If you play 1000 hands only 880 are raked though. Your rakeback per played hand is 880x.055/1000= 4.8c So the figure I come up with based on a 20% rakeback is 4.8c per hand played. 4 tabling at 85 hands per table per hour = $16.32 Even using stips figures of $1.55 and 5.5 players only brings it up to $16.86 factoring in the 88% thing. Could someone with a larger database confirm my figures or show me the error of my way? |

I pay $3-4K/month in rakes. Am I the only 1 not getting any of this back? Is it true that u can get something like 20% from your rake back? Is it legal? Do u get it into your pokersite account or where? I would like to open a new account at Multipoker.se
Was looking at some posts in Internetforum and it looked like everyone had rakeback deals, but me. |

I found another interesting thing while doing some research on my 3-6 pokertrackerdatabase. I did it on 10-handed ringgames but I guess the findings would be the same for SH.
Since party+skins calculate the AVERAGE rake on all players, instead of every individual, the tight winning player gets a higher piece of the rake back than they actually contribute to the rake. I knew it was like this but not that the difference would be as big as I found out. According to pokertracker and using the method fyodor suggests I get these numbers. When 4-tabling 3-6 the average rake is $41.32 an hour(or 10.33 per tablehour). With a 22.5% rakeback I get $9.3 back every hour. The ACTUAL RAKE I'm paying on my WINNING HANDS is $25.92/h (or $6.48 per tablehour). This means I'm in reality paying $25.92 per hour to get back $9.3 and here's the interesting thing about it. $9.3/$25.92=0.358 or 36%. A 22.5% rake back program actually gives me a 36% rake back. That's a lot. I knew tight winning players would benefit more from rake back programs than loose losing ones. I just didn't know it was that a big difference (22.5% - 36%). Could anyone of you SH-players do the same calculation on your SH-figures to find out if the difference is about the same? |

I would also like to know the answer to this question as I have no rake back deal or anything of that sort. I play at Pacific 5/10 and Party Poker for Sngs/other tournaments, am I losing out somehow not having one of these deals?

If you play a lot you're losing out on a lot of 'free' money. Get a rakeback deal from a trustworthy person or make yourself your own affiliate ASAP. You'll be a lot happier at the end of every month.
