Poker Tracker Testimonials? Should I Buy?
I am considering buying PT, but since $55 is currently a significant part of my bankroll, I'm wondering if I really absolutely need it. Those who have bought it, are you glad you did? Anyone not like it?

Re: Poker Tracker Testimonials? Should I Buy?
I got it almost 2 weeks ago, and I'm 2000 hands in. I've found it very useful so far in seeing what hands I've winning with, and there's a lot of cool things that I need to get more hands in to use properly (like stats on other players) that I'm looking forward to.
You do know that you can use it for free up to 1000 hands, right? |

Re: Poker Tracker Testimonials? Should I Buy?
PT is definitely a must-have for any serious player. I'm embarassed that I ever played without it. Tracking your own stats is only a relatively minor part of the program. Great features that would be worth $55 on their own include:
1. The ability to replay any hand you've ever played. 2. Showing your opponent's cards when they call/check and muck. (It's really useful to see what people are calling you down with). 3. Organizing my notes on players and keeping them accessible at my fingertips. 4. Autorating. 5. Using the GameTime window at Party, where I can compile stats on the other players in real time. You just have to buy this as soon as feasible. |

I agree, buy it as soon as you can. In addition to the advantages listed above, the stats on your opponents make it real easy to build a profitable buddy list on Party.

it will quickly pay for itself. seriously, most small stakes players here probably have made at least several thousand more because of pokertracker then they would have made without it.

Re: Poker Tracker Testimonials? Should I Buy?
Thanks everyone.
I played with the free version last night (i'm up to 990 hands) -- are you constantly clicking back and forth between your PP (or whatever) windows the the PT program? It seems like it takes to long to get the information you need during a hand. |

Re: Poker Tracker Testimonials? Should I Buy?
I asked the same question a month ago. My response after purchasing it and using it is: NO We want you to continue to be a fish and give us your money. Don't watch your ability to win skyrocket. Just kidding of course. It's a tool you will have to learn to use but well worth it.
